Sheeit, I grew up riding on powerline trails!

 

I'm gonna check out Nisbet Lake Road powerlines this weekend and see how bad it's gotten. My friend rolled his jeep off the side of the mountain there about 10 years ago... He wasn't hurt, it only rolled over onto the side. His pride was hurt though, because everyone else had climbed the hill and we were at the top watching him.

 

Im going out of town. I need a good ride! Its gonna be atleast 3 weeks though before my next one.

 

If it's not gated and there's no sign, it's good to go, right?

I've never been trespassed by the power company. A lot of times, they lease that land to timber companies and they pretty much don't care if anyone rides through.

 

I'll just keep my fingers crossed and be polite.

 

You have to be trespassed by the land owner first, before you can get arrested for trespassing. Don't yall watch Live PD? lol

 

We used to call that the Piney Woods.

 

The key is, go in, tread lightly and pass on through. We ain't out there to party, get high or anything, just riding!

 

Most of it has to do with all the dumping that takes place and of course stupid people getting into fights. @tweakit88 and i when we were at the slab came across the worst dumping.

 

I've rode at the Piney Woods before, but we went in through Webster's Chapel. There's some shady shit going on in the Piney Woods at night. Not a good place to ride at night by yourself, unless you wanted to end up dead or missing! lol We always rolled 5 or 6 vehicles deep though...

 

So how do I know if I'm somewhere I shouldn't be?

 

OMG, remember the dumping grounds there at Lakeshore? That shit pisses me off to no end. A couple bad apples can ruin it for the rest of us!

ignorance to that doesn't justify someone being there, saying "I didn't know I wasn't supposed to be here" is like saying "I didn't know the speed limit was 55" well you should have lol.

It ain't no different than going to the Slab or Lakeshore or any other place that's not an OR Park.

 

This happened off Lakeshore as well. They closed off a bunch of trails.

 

does that make it ok? just because you've gone some places without permission does that make it ok to go elsewhere without it?
