Alabama thread!

Got a trailer (8'x5')/truck. What afternoon can I help? I am actually off next Friday if I don't have to go south Alabama to help my brothers.

 

Not sure it it's ok or not, but many folks have been going there and even posting YT videos of it. I imagine that if it IS a problem, the owners would gate all the roads off.

 

It’s probably to tuck them up tighter and not interfere with the pinch weld under the cab that drops down further in that area. It’s a well thought out design

There will be a lot of support and other activity out of the areas that weren't hit. Definitely be checking with travel agent or hotel to confirm status. Those hotels are going to be flooded with people that no longer have homes.

 

First I've heard of the "go at your own risk". Many members here from the Bama forum ride there and haven't had any trespassing issues. If I'm in the area again, yall wanna go ride the Slab or Lakeshore? lol

There's a place here called Big John, in Alabama City. Many, many folks go there to ride, but I have yet to check it out. I found this out from my Jeep neighbor. I think I'll ask him to show me where it is this weekend.

 

Well, Lakeshore is ALL trails surrounding power substations! lol The worse thing is, we run into someone who says, "Yall can't be out here" and we go home.

Nah, he said there were some killer hill climbs there and hill climbs are my jam!

 

I finally got my pinch weld notched properly with wes on Monday....mine was too close...

 

I was told there are 'Jeep' trails in Paint Rock outside of Huntsville. I'm not sure where they are, but I see guys meeting at the Gurley gas station in the mornings to go ride.

 

I’ll be in bham next weekend 14/15 and make regular trips up to hville. Will be in hville this weekend as well.

They were some fun trails to ride and as far as I know, those trails have been open to ride on for the last 20 years or so and nobody I know of, has been trespassed there. I pulled a brand new Dodge out of the mud there one time.
