How do you like them and hows the noise?
I want ST Maxx, but can't afford the extra $75 a tire right now
    I'm looking at 285/75/17

Had them for a little over 1,000 miles now. The performance is pretty similar to the KO2s I had previously but a tad quieter than them. I was originally going to go with the ST Maxx for my next tire but got a killer deal on these.

    ST Maxx FTW.
I moved from Kbro2, and I'm very happy with them.

Told me he'll be working in Emeryville on Sunday. He's going to take the bumper and I'll meet him there.

It's been quiet here lately. Not like I'm a prolific poster or anything, but I'm always on looking around TW for something. I'm sure camping, hunting prep, school, and life in general has everyone busy at the moment. How's everyone? @Pella - you recovering alright? Need anything?
I've been stupid busy with life, but have some SOS skids on the way and am trying to figure out tires. I'm not sure if I want to go with wheels and tires and go to 17" rims, or keep the 16's. I like the stock OR wheels. Too many options there. :notsure:
Keep cool brothers and sisters, Fall is on the way:yay:

I’m good Larry, thank you. It is very quiet around here. All is well brotha, hope you’re doing good. Gotta get that skid on. I’m also looking at tires. Thinking about making the jump to 285/75/17. I prefer a 17” rim.

Tomorrow I am getting 285/75/16’s put on, my tires were do and I caught a nail in my sidewall. Little sooner than I wanted, and got my cab mount chop plates from BAMF.

I have been pretty busy with work lately, but i do try to read up and stay up to date. Even if im not posting/contributing too much. @Pella let us know if/when you get that size! I have been looking at that size for a while and have talked to a few about what is required to clear them. Seems like alot of work, almost to the point of running 35s (pretty much gotta trim all the same things, just half an inch less... Or can not trim fenders and space out the bump stops).

Only thing keeping me away from that size is gearing, which will be many years before i can afford that. So i was considering 285/70s to hold me over until then

(But also considering not spending a dime on this truck until i move out of state lol)

Looking at that size for my next tire. Also looking at 275/70-18, which is slightly smaller. I'd have to get new rims, though. Seems tires for 18s are less expensive.

That’s one size higher than we were at. I’m at 265/70/17 right now and want to go 2 sizes bigger. I’m gonna call Sweier here in a bit. Which tires? I’ll go KO2 again, I have almost 60k on the KO2’s I have right now. I never ended up using my Bamf cmc plates, I went with a much more aggressive chop.

I think all I have left to deal with is the pinch weld. I really wonder how bad it would be in a 3rd gen on 34’s with stock gears. I can get the 285/75/17 for $90 less than 285/70/17. I really don’t want to regret the decision either way.

I like my wheels meaty, not 16 meaty but a good, wide 17.

I got my tires installed, balanced, and out the door for $793 at Swier Tire in Ripon. Trying out 285/75/16 Toyo C/T’s which are big in Canada for their snowflake rating and durability on gravel roads. They are newer to the US so we will see
