I’m probably 90-95%. I have no limitations on anything. I can run, jump, squat, deadlift, all pain free. The only thing that keeps me from saying I’m 100% is that it still gets a little sore now and again. I think running probably aggravates it the most. I started playing ultimate again on Sundays a couple weeks ago and after the first day it felt like I had a Charlie horse for a couple days. My PT had the same surgery and told me it really takes 12-18months before all that goes away

Only watched about half this video, but man I like him. I’m gonna have to check out more of his videos. I like his break down and simplicity of explaining things.

It's a good video, and actually helped me in many ways. As I've said before, I started at a rough position (all parts even chest) and for 5.5 years I never did a single proper chest movement. I just "moved" the weight (cool). And as a result, I overdeveloped my shoulders (which I do not train anymore as of 2 months ago). They don't need help.

Also many love to talk shit, but yet there's 3 of us in here that actually post photo. Meh, take it with a grain of salt and pictures are worth 1000 words.

6 years. 145 top - 205 bottom - far leaner which results in over 60# of LBM. True muscle - probably 40#.

One of those days when all is perfect. I love it. Conv and sumo was dialed in. Everything I touched was @ RPE empty freaking barbell.

As much as I wanted to push the weight, I didn’t go above prescription. Too early in this prep to get stupid.

    Good day!!!

Leg day went decent. Worked up to some heavy singles. Hit 325 easy. Hit 365 pretty easy but wasn’t happy with my hip shift. I’m still scared of my left hip and sub consciously avoid putting weight on it. Something I have to keep working on. Got buried by 400 and went back down to 375 for a single but wasn’t happy with the depth so I tried again and got buried. Good humbling day...

Finished off with some SSB, deadsled pulls, and belted squat machine squats and marches, and GHR.

Now time to hunker down and see what Dorian has in store for us :rain:

Stay safe. Hurricanes are a pita. I went through Andrew in 92. I’ll never forget going outside as the eye passed over. Everything was dead still & quiet. Such an eerie feeling.

    Still no chest :anonymous:

I feel I’m in the same boat as you though. I am nowhere near as in shape and physique though but my chest always seems to be the most resistant to growth. Definitely gonna give more attention to muscle movements though as described in the video and see how it works out

I’ve been through my fair share of hurricanes. Luckily we are about 3 hours inland and this one is just skirting along the coast. Used to have a beach house and stayed down there through one. Would not recommend :bananadead:

You probably already have a plan, but I fixed a hip shift s couple years ago through lots and lots of unilateral work. Single leg dumbbell rdl, single leg glute bridges, box step ups, etc.

I don't talk shit about physique (only form :drevil:) or post pictures because I am a fat power lifter who shouldn't throw stones (albeit very heavy stones as I am relatively strong) from my glass house.

You should. Some of us have fat powerlifter goals.

You shouldn't, if it can be avoided. Be strong but lean like @ThunderCookies or @DirtyTerp.

Powerlifter or not, though, there are certain standards of strength I think we should all aspire to: 1.5x bodyweight bench, 2x bodyweight squat, 2.5x bodyweight deadlift.

Next time I am in the garage about to hit one of those attempts, i will try to remember to film it.

Went out last night to a concert and ate tacos along with 3 vodka sodas. Definitely felt those today and got the nasty “grease sweats” at the gym. Didn’t get on my scale this morning because I didn’t want to see the damage but the scale at the gym said 172. Fluffy. Cardio tomorrow.
