How is the small batch? I’ve never tried that one.

It’s very good. I believe they have 3 different kinds ... pretty smooth on the finish (IMO).
I guess you can say I really like it. I believe this is my 5th bottle since July of this year.

I'm still slowly lowering the open bottle count. I've got a lot of stuff in the wings waiting to be tried.

Also, the day my Costco carries Blantons... my credit card company will be calling me for potential fraud and theft

I don't know why SC is not on that list, but our Costco has liquor.

On a side note...the guy at the Costco liquor counter told me Saturday that the Kirkland Bourbon (which is very good) is gone. He said they lost the contract with whoever distills it for them. Damn shame.

Jack Black label for straight and Bulleit for a 50/50 mix with vanilla Coke. It takes on a very creamy flavor in that combination. I keep a bottle of Four Roses small batch around, too

We have it at all the Costco stores here in Washington too. Costco is actually pretty much the reason why we no longer have state run liquor stores, they back rolled the entire initiative that changed the law here.

I haven't seen Blanton's at ours but they have had Whistle Pig and some other higher end whiskeys popping up lately.

I think that list above is for stores attached to costco. Some Costco stores sell in store and not on that list.

That couldn't be it cause our Costco has a separate liquor store outside. Maybe the other way around.
