Mine came with Toyo A30's. They've done awesome and there's decent tread left at 20k. And the truck's been out on the trails plenty.

They can't all be crawler bots. We still have 42 guests looking at this awesome thread so I just can't help but wonder what is directing people here.

Was your truck built in Mexico or Texas? Now I'm curious as to why they'd put different tires on the same truck.

You’re looking at the scoop from the wrong angle. It looks great from behind the wheel. The suspension is tuned for what most people use them for... to drive on the road.

Didn’t feel like reading the entire thread...don’t know if its been said or not. I bought my 2013 Sport because I don’t like chrome. The color matched side view mirrors, grill surround and rear bumper for the win.

Mine too has the Toyo A30's and they are a really decent set of shoes. Fantastic in wet weather.

I bought a Sport over the Off Road because the scooped hood does not vibrate. I was ready to buy an Off Road until I looked under the hood and saw that the brace adhesive had already separated. This was a truck that had only 3 miles on the odometer. Looks-wise and performance-wise I like them both. My wife has a 2015 TRD Off Road. Her previous truck was a 2011 Sport. I replaced the stock tires on my Sport with Michelin LTX AT 2's on the way home from the dealer.

I like ALL Tacomas, even every generation, I don’t like to bash, and I don’t have time to read the whole thread....But why do people love the fake scoop so much? There’s so much fake shit in the world why would anyone want a big plastic dome with zero functionality in their field of view every time they operate their vehicle? What’s next, fake plastic turbos under the hood cuz it looks good? It just seems so silly to me. besides that, I fully understand why the Sport model exists..but....Why does the pro have a scoop AND a desert air intake? Is there a vehicle in the world that functionally uses both of those things? I must be missing something. I guess I still kind of see Tacoma’s as Japanese utility trucks so maybe I’m still getting used to it all.

IDK why the OR group gives 2 shits about our fake hood scoop , we could care less about their crawl and locker and we never bitch about it .
