    anyone have any experience with the shop BAERTRAX in dallas? i know it’s a big jeep shop mostly but i’ve seen some reviews of them doing regears on tacos and tundras.

    I watched the owner drive a customer's SASed FJ into a tree after $10k+ was spent fixing a $20k botched swap. The current owner bought it from the guy that made it what it is today and doesn't ha e the same ethics.

    I know at least one person that had a bad regear from there.

    It's changed hands since Josh bought it from Russ Baer. The guy that owns it now is Tim Welpot, and I know him pretty well from my days in the Jeep scene. Tim is a pretty stand-up guy. I would trust them with my truck.

    Tim was the one I watched make poor decisions with someone else's truck. But then I also say the aftermath of Josh doing something similar so maybe it's just cool to wreck a customer's rig a week before scheduled delivery.
