    I would get a ecu programed as close as it can to your truck, so have them flash it to your transmission be it auto or manual. The only issue would be the vin number and the immobilizer. Idk if your hilux has one from the factory.

    Also since I just woke up another solution would be a haltech ecu. You could get a bloomslang harness to whatever haltech ecu you chose and tune from there.

    Yeah my ecu has an Immobilizer from factory. When the dyno guy tried to use the original ecu it’ll the Immobilizer kicked in. So all we have to work with is the ecu for the sc engine. I’ll find out more about this ecu you have sent me. Might be a good option. Thanks

    I'm going install a supercharger in the future, will a TRD Pro exhaust be sufficient? I did search this site for answers, but don't have time to go through over 1,000 pages on this thread.

    TRD catback is 2.5". Youll benefit most with a 3.0" catback with the blower for more flow

    @australian hilux you may want to check and see if the pins locations are the same for a us market ecu. If you have to re-pin or get an adapter harness, then a stand alone ecu may be a better route.

    I'm thinking the Mongoose cable, and short subscription to TIS. Reflash ecu to his type of transmission.

    Or....HP Tuners, then through email datalogs with @JustDSM to get it sorted out. HPTuner has more overall flexibility for the money though.

    Yeah got ya. Well that might just be an option. Definitely another avenue to go down if we have no luck doing what we are doing now.

    I’ll get some photos of the ecu and compare it to the US Tacoma ecu. Then go from there I suppose.

    Question... is the vacuum line to the bypass the only
    2006 is the year of Ute and the engine is out of an 2008. No difference though between the 2.

    It got me buggered. If the vacuum is the only thing that controls the sc, what controls the vacuum? Surly the vacuum is not electtonic controlled?

    Hey JustDSM, is the calibration ID exactly the same numbers as well? So the only difference is you guys are EYWG1011 and we are EYWH1011?
