I don't know why you need a sway bar anyways it's not like you're going to be taking corners at 80 miles an hour in a lifted Tacoma

If we could design a sway bar disconnect for a Tacoma modeled after the jk, I would have one. The original design should be manually opened and closed but have an optional actuator setup. I think the weekend warriors would be all over it! Run the streets ragged and flex out on the trails with the flip of a switch.

I could make you a manual one for less than $20 in materials from home depot, made 'em for quite a few Jeeps shouldn't be much harder. Thought about doing it on mine but said fuck the sway bar all together. Would require drilling out your endlinks

I guess 700lbs springs has its benefits but that swaybar disconnect would be a sweet option.

 

The Tacoma sway bar interferes with the tires. I’ve already looked in to doing standard disconnects and they won’t work. It would have to be in the middle of the sway bar.

 

I have all the body roll lol. I'm trying not to put too much stress on my steering on the daily lol
