Pass along an update later if you don't mind. Friend over in Arab also had some issues with no where to hunt. Corn is still standing on all the fields around them. Being dried longer than normal for some reason.

 

They lock a lot of the gates up when the hunting season is closed.

 

Get the AAL's from Headstrong and keep the overload spring in. I got about 2" total that way.

 

I got the headstrong progressive AAL and will definitely leave the overload in.

@stronghammer oh by the way I told you I was having issues with the paint on my bumpers? Chipping and having rust already. Finally messaged John to tell him I was having issues and would like to just get them powdercoated and he said it was a bad batch of paint and that he’ll strip them, remove any rust and paint for free or he’ll do the stripping for free and just do the powdercoat for whatever price his guy does it for. But either way I won’t have all the rust spots and paint exposed steel anymore on my bumpers

 

Oh nice man! He’s a good dude sounds like you’ve got a plan moving forward. That sucks about the paint though...

 

Yea I was pretty disappointed in the quality and thought maybe he just rushed it bc you said yours held up for years and I literally pressure washed my rear hoop the first month and a chunk flaked off...but either way it’s gonna get fixed

Yeah mine held up great and I still actually haven’t repainted the rear but it’s starting to need it. Most is caused by me though not bad paint.

 

I’m looking for suggestions on what to do with my IS250 hood. It looks like the engine heat has gotten to it and it’s starting to fade. The car only has 113K on it and is in good shape, so it’s worth fixing.

The guy that painted my camper shell for $500 quoted me $1000 to respray It seems business is good and he has all the insurance work he wants.

I could take it to Macco but I’ve never seen that turn out well.

I could paint it flat black myself but it’s my work car, not a drift machine

I could have it wrapped but same issue as painting it flat black.

Suggestions? Anybody here that can paint?
