Sure remind him of his dead mom every time he hears his name.

    Actually think it’s pretty funny.

Every single night... mama, papa... can you find me?! Then when we look behind the curtain, he runs to the living room, hides and does a half ass pounce at us then goes right back to hide behind the curtains. This goes on for about 3-4 iterations.

Well that was disturbing. I just sat down to watch a little tv when the mighty hunter came charging up out of the basement and presented me with a gift.

At least it was deceased. Recently deceased.

We can’t get ours to handle car trips yet... need to try short trips to acclimate him I think.

occasionally I get one on my game camera, I havent got a good pic yet, most of the time its blurry. I did see one once a while back but all I saw was the silhouette of its distinctive face/head.

She used to get caged and would foam at the mouth and poop in the crate. after two trips I tried the leash anchored to the seat latch, the other two in crates, two trips success, she just sits on the arm rest and sleeps, real smooth. It is a two hour trip. We do not feed for at least after midnight for a morning trip.

So far two of these cats a coyote, dogs, rabbits, quail, roadrunner and alot of bugs. Coyotes got the dog down the road. I found the remains "a tail end" of something.

We had a soft crate and a towel in the back, we just left the top open and after a while she got tired of us and went in there.

When I got up at 5 to go to work they got used to that as their breakfast time. Then I retired and foolishly thought I'd be able to sleep a bit later and they could eat at 7 or 8. HA!

5 AM every day they come in and take turns head-butting me. If I don't get up within 5 minutes they start pushing stuff off the bedside table - books, empty water glass, alarm clock, whatever. I wanted to keep them from making this a habit, and I read that you shouldn't reward bad behavior, so I removed all breakables and ignored them. They escalated. Up on the bureau clearing off my toiletries, electric shaver, framed photos, even pulled down a picture from the wall. Now it was a war of wills. So I removed all breakables from the bedroom and ignored them while they rearranged the decor. They escalated some more. After 15 minutes of thumps but no crashes they went out into the living room and shoved the lamps off the end tables.

Now when they start in I get up, climb out of bed, head toward the kitchen (pausing on the way to admire my lovely new brass table lamps with plastic LED bulbs), feed the fuzzy morons, and go back to bed. After they're done eating they climb into bed and cuddle up with me for a couple hours until I'm ready to get up for real. I like to think of it as a win/win compromise.
