It looks like I'll be on this forum for several years to come. I bought mine new 4 years ago this month. I don't like the looks of the 3rd gens, and I didn't care for the 6 speed automatic (mountains of Western North Carolina), my father had a 3rd gen for a couple of years.

What temps and feeds are you using? Don't have the Markforged but able to print PC/Carbonfiber and Nylon/Carbonfiber (not tried yet). PC/CarbonFIBER@ 272 nozzle/120 bed temp using
Micro-Swiss All-metal Hotend Kit on my tevo tornado (1st printer).

 

Finally installed. “Bright” does not accurately describe the MESO/Baja Designs 3rd brake light at all.

 

Yup Brute Force Fab front and rear bumpers now. Im on a 6” rough country drop bracket with Fox 2.5 coil overs w/ remote resi in the front. Deaver stage III U402 custom leaf pack in the rear with custom accutune rear fox 2.5 shocks. Tires are Nitto Ridge Grapplers

Installed my new UBolt flip kit & started cutting down the offensively long wheel studs for my new 2" wheel spacers. About 90% done on the driver side but ran out of daylight.

 

I’m unsure of the speed rates without looking up that information. It’s all proprietary to the Markforged and their filament which is also proprietary.
The nozzle temp is at 272 deg C, non heated bed.

 

Well gents it’s been a slice! Unfortunately we have moved on from our 2015 Tacoma and jumped into a 2015 Tundra ! With one little one now and another on the way the cab just isn’t big enough for a husky 6’ guy, my beautiful wife and 2 car seats. We shall see if the Tundra forum guys are as cool as you guys. Hopefully still going to be on here periodically and join in on the annual Christmas exchange. Take care to all and hopefully we made the right choice. At least it’s still a Toyota!

I have always just scrubbed mine with a scrub brush and car wash soap. Sometimes if i really want them to get clean ill scrub them with dawn or joy dish soap. It dies wonders, but i dint do it a whole lot because of damaging the finish on my rims.

 

Been thinking about doing the same. We have twins that are now about 2 1/2 and the cab just isnt quiet large enough anymore. But were going to try and get at least another yer or so out of it before we upgrade.

 

Did they offer to put you in a brand new SR for the same payments?

I went the same route, bought a cheap CB and a whip. I listened to truckers on my highway drives but I wanted more. Got my ham tech license and used free online study guides. https://hamexam.org/ is the one I used and I liked it. The test was quick and easy and the clubs local to me offer them once a month in the evening at the EOC. I went in paid $15 (max cost) which covered all 3 exams if I wanted to take them. I passed the Tech and took the General. Whole thing took no more than an hour. All the guys there were cool, we sat around after the tests and chatted and they welcomed us into the hobby.

Now I have a $30 handheld and a $60 1/4 wave antenna and that's all I listen to. I barely ever use my CB anymore but its nice to have every now and then. Communication is so much clearer and the power/distance is waaayyyy better. Its a very cheap license to get and its good for 10 years before it needs renewed. you dont have to re-test to renew either so essentially you take the test once and you can maintain it for life.

 

LoL I have 2 car seats in the back and our 12 year old sits in-between them. The youngest boy is about to move up to a booster seat so that should give them a little more breathing room.
