Any good place or people to get gears and lockers done in the sacramento and surrounding areas?

Looking to re-gear with ARB lockers front and rear.

And if you have yours done already, how much did you pay and where? And what set up is it?

I called Jaws and was quoted $4600 with rear bearings and install kit excluding air compressor for drive in drive out service.

    Any help appreciated

I removed my 3rd and clamshell myself then had a shop do the gear install since didn't have all of the tools required. it cost about $1500 for parts and labor. knowing what i know now i think i would have rather dealt with the guys at east coast gear supply and bought the fully assembled setup. they have alot of options and the customer service is really good from what i read.

http://www.rearendspecialties.com/ might be a bit of a drive for you. i've had a few diffs built from them and no issues. they also have the option of bringing in the diffs off the vehicle which is less in labor fees.

East coast gear supply. Great price, warranty, and their service department is no joke.

Seems like with ECGS I will get the best bang for my bucks there.

For the guys that have geared already, which ratio did you go with? Are you happy with it? If you can could, would you change your ratio? And why?

I have a v6 auto on 285/75r16 and I don’t tow much, seems like 4.88 is the one to go with. Anybody running the same set up? How’s your rpm’s when going up hill?

I’m running 255 85r16 mud terrains and my truck is a fat ass. When I re-gear I’m gonna go with 4.88

@Fernando regeared last year. Fernie what’d you go with? For 35’s? And you locked both axles too, right?

sorry I am late. my notifications are turned off.

I went with 4.88s, dual ARB's, and 35s. The diff job was turn key. 5k out the door at Jaws

    Thanks for all the replies.

I decided to go with ECGS, $3100 for 4.88's and ARB's.

Thinking about going to them to re-gear my 3rd gen to 5.29.
It's between them and SWAT customs.
Any opinions? How long did it take them to re-gear your truck?
