No plans on the casino..I'm going to a concert at MSG on a Saturday night. So I'm thinking if I can find a cheap room Friday night in CT, I can hit the train early to MSG..stay over there at night worst case and come home Sunday.

Anyone ever done this before and have some ideas of time/money? NYC is at least $250 a night for a hotel so I'm trying to do this cheap, or I might not be able to do it at all

 

Washed/hosed off the bottom of the Taco today and removed the spare in prep for the Fluid Film gathering in a few weeks.
I'll do it a couple of more times over the next two weeks,

This gathering signals a few things.
The evil white stuff is on the way , we get to see old friends and make some new friends, swap lies and parts , see the latest mods that the wife's don't know about.

I was thinking of dropping the spare and giving her douche this weekend for that myself.

Received the TRD skid plate purchased from another TW member today. Timing was perfect had just cancelled an appointment and had a few hours to play, so ... power washed, de-greased and since it was in nice shape sprayed with two coats of bed coating. Heres a before and after. Hope to install tomorrow.
I know many of you think these are for looks only but, being mounted over stock plate I think it would take a good bang before any damage would reach the components. I just drive off road occasionally and try to avoid barriers so this should serve for those whoops moments.
Side note: There is one of these posted on craigslist CT for $75, not in as nice shape as this one, but make an offer for what you think its worth.

 

Any idea what we need to do to create this? Do we just start a post?

 

Probably create a thread in the NothEast section I would think...

On a side note, speaking of the FF meet in a few weeks... I should probably take pics of the old set of sport rims that I have in my shed, that I was using for the winter tires before I got my SEMA wheels... maybe someone is looking for a spare crappy set for some reason. Would probably let it go for cheap since they need some "work".

Once I hit CT (at Foxwoods), how far is the drive to the train? My thought is stay in CT Friday night and take the train to NY first thing in the AM Saturday..then come back Sunday to CT and drive back to MA.

 

Where are you planning to catch the train? New Haven?

@ABA180, I've never made the run from Foxwoods to NH but a WAG would be 1hr 15min. I'm certain there are busses that run from Penn Station in NYC to Foxwoods several times a day too. That may be an option.

I think this plate only comes stock on the Pro, it bolts over the stock plate and wraps slightly over the lower front shrouding. Good luck with the grille. Post some pics as you go!
