Most any of the manufacturers of these style bumper protrude a bit. Gotta have room for a winch in there.

I understand, but I've seen a few that are much flatter. BAMF makes a flat is pretty flat face winch bumper.

I've seen that one, I like their design. I think demello makes a slimmer fit, along with cbi, too.

I've come to realize it's simply the nature of this path if I'm going to do hood rat shit with my friends/internet strangers in the woods :notsure: and still expect to drive it to work.

I'm literally inches away from fitting my truck in my garage and closeting the door. I'm thinking about selling my early gen ebay bumper and getting a weld-yourself bumper kit, might about break even that way.

LOL! I couldn't park in mine before bumpers! Now, I need a 10' door and about 30'+ deep. Gotta damn near air down to get in there to get under the hood and be out of the weather.

Running an Engo winch with my bumper. The grill does not fit flush with the winch installed. The bumper doesn’t allow the winch to sit low enough to clear the grill.

Yes, and yes. Mine, being a 2014 and 4 banger w/o tow package/trans cooler, I didn't notch anything. Like others, I did have to remove the front bent sheet metal grille support only to get the winch in. I don't really like it aesthetically because it kinda gaps the bumper at the grille and headlights.

NOTE: After some winching and recovery jerking after my recent outing, and general tomfuckery in the woods, the bumper or maybe body panels  have moved. I really drove the shit outta my truck that weekend.

Same. I ripped a bush out of the yard doing some landscaping and made the bumper sit crooked, more nose down. I’ve been too lazy to fix it because if I take it off, it means I’m getting a new ARB put on as a replacement.
