Good mod! Hope you didn't take the day off for the 30 minutes of install time?

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Returned the Rough Country Hard Cover Tonneau and replaced with the Lomax.

    upload_2019-9-6_10-38-21.jpg

Reason for returning the Rough Country: it's a pain in the ass to fold up. They dont tell you this on the website but in order to fold it up you have to physically remove the rear clamps and handles, and reinsert them into a slot. There is no way my wife would use that thing if I had kept it. Also i wanted a less boxy, tighter look. And they were super cool about the return.

The Lomax is awesome so far. I love how easy it is to use and how solidly it fits and snaps into place, plus the low-profile look is just what i was going for. Install took me about 2 hours but that's partially because I over tightened one of the bolts and snapped it off and had to go to a hardware store to get an extractor. Thanks to Kyle at @truckalter for the customer service and the deal. One thing to know about the lomax is because it's so low-profile and snug to the top of the bed, you can't have the bed cleats in the side rails when the cover is down. But you can put them in when the cover is off or folded up.

Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I’ve realized that sometimes steering my Taco on a hill is like trying to maneuver a tail dragger but there is no room to zigzag to see forward. So I want to add a front camera. I’m looking at the anytimebackupcamers.com package and am not thrilled about pulling the BSM switch and letting it hang. Then I noticed on the driver side there is a blank switch where the Clutch Start Cancel would go BUT it’s a large switch opening.

Does anyone make a replacement panel for this spot that has the wide rocker slot, the small AC slot and a small slot for the DTDP backup switch?

Second question anyone know about the supplied camera with the complete kit? How about the cameras that are embedded in the Toyota logo?

    Reviews please

I added some flaire to my interior today! Got bored with the stock straps and decided to swap them out for these orange ones. Took ~15min to complete and adds some fun color to the rear. Already got a compliment at work :D

No reason you can't ask here, I'm just not the right person to ask for that particular mod. Friendly site sure someone will step up and help you out or maybe direct you to a particular thread.

    Welcome to TW Bud! :hattip:

It took 3-4 tries before I was able to get a set of tail light harnesses. I never once thought "Why did I get an email when there is no product actually available?". I understood that I wasn't the only one getting those emails, there are a limited amount of product available, and others were faster to purchase than me. A few times, it was literally minutes after getting the email.

Did you think that MESO was giving you a personal invitation to purchase some item, or what?

I know I’ve said it before, but I really like the color of your truck and how you have it setup. Looks like you work at keeping it clean and polished...

No hurricane here tornado some years back. Do they name tornados? No matter. Glad you're OK other than the crap that the storm left behind.
Mother nature is a fickle bitch. You really can't appreciate these things until they happen to you, gives you a whole different perspective on things.
Good luck, God Bless and stay safe!

No sir off all week got back from camping and after a recuperation day (I'm old) I finally got around to dropping in the tweeters. And it probably was closer to 15 minutes of actual work time. Leaves plenty of time for some beers!
