Got mine installed, anyone knows how to wire them to have the option to turn them on and off whenever you want? I saw a video on youtube but theres no explanation on how to do it like that

As listed in the thread previously (quite a few times) Meso is working on a switch that'll make it all work.

Just some pointers if you haven’t done the install.

-before or after removing door screws, remove door switch cover by prying up. A whole lot easier to undo harness now.

-I used a giant zip tie (had it available) to fish through the door boot. Went from the cab towards door with it. Inside cab boots had a slight opening which allowed me to insert zip tie without removing tape. Lightly lubed zip tie (anything works, use your favorite) and work it through the boot.

-when assembling door back make sure all clips are on the panel itself and not on the door.

-Before putting the upper triangular trim piece, make sure to remove the clips from the door and clip them on the trim itself. I lost two clips inside door trying to push the trim piece with clips on door.

Do we know where the new 2020s MTM cameras are located? Seriously wondering if they are located in the mirrors and if so will it impeded the instillation of these puddle lights.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
If so Meso will probably figure something out. Maybe use his V1 design and the same main harness could still be used. :notsure:

Rip the cameras out and replace with puddles.

The OEM side cams are in a different location/plastic panel. It’s more like the 4runners where it’s housed on the outside plastic(mirror side). From my research, the puddles will not interfere. In fact, they might compliment the side terrain cams perfectly when trying to navigate in low light conditions.
Just flip the switch(coming soon!) to have manual control over the puddles, and light up the ground for better visibility in the fancy new “multi-terrain” Side camera system.

Nothing to do with the puddle lights, but Meso is having a sale on the gasholes. 15 bucks and free shipping. You can't beat that. I love his products. Also I've noticed on his home page he puts up whatever he's working on for the next batch. That's how I knew about the sale. Still waiting for the ultimate turn signals so I can install them and the puddle lights all at once. And upgrade my speakers lol

I haven't read through this monster thread yet (sorry!), but has anyone ever considered or discussed adding a logo to the puddle light like on the Hyundai Genesis? That would be sick.
