Who has pinstripes? Add PICS please

Can I see some pictures of your truck with pinstripes?

What about those black rubber door bumpers along the bottom of the doors?

I removed mine ages ago and am repainting. I can’t decide if I want new ones or not.

the black rubber door bumper things are called body side moldings? not totally sure
i never had those put onto mine but know of a '95.5 that has them on his
@Emmetjmcc4 but has not been on TW for 2 months now it looks like

 

Haha, not those type. I’m sure I will accidentally add some of those eventually. Yeah, that body moulding was on mine when I got it. I never knew if it was factory or not. The shit was terribly hard to remove though. I likely won’t be putting any back on but was at least entertaining the idea.

 

I've got the rubber door bumpers. I like them - even with sliders (which now protect from other vehicles), the rubber protects me when I open the door in a confined space. Lots more pics in my build or here.

I think they look pretty good on a dark colored truck like yours. They looked decent on mine too. I had the imperial jade green color but am going to cavalry blue. I’m not sure if they’ll look good though... may stand out too much

I like the way the pinstripes are staggered on the fenders. That is something else I will have to decide on... how I want them styled at each end of the truck. Do yours wrap around the tailgate?

No, and my tailgate is completely de-badged. Here you can kinda see how they are staggered in the back.

 

I saw this at the dealer the other day. They put pin striping on all their trucks, but on the cab and front fenders only. The bed does not get stripes. Weird...
Tacoma and Tundra both are like that.

 

Yeah that’s funky. Without the back story I would assume that someone had put a new bed on the truck bc it had been wrecked or something.

 

I used to have pinstripes, but had to remove them because truck got a new paintjob... There were one silver stripe and one black stripe. I have a reel of pinstripe tape laying around, me think I will use it on the truck because it looked cool with the rubber door bumper things and the chrome flares...

I have pinstripes and the plastic molding stuff. Still get door dings with the plastic. My buddy has an F-250 on 35s and his girlfriend like to slam the door into my truck above the molding on mine.

As for the stripes the sun is going to get them soon. I try not to wash too hard around them because once they start peeling I'm just taking them all off.

Pretty cool to see the differences in style between the last 2 posts. My old stripes were styled like these. They wrapped around the tailgate. I kind of like the curve with the fender that @onakat had.

Pinstripes always look goofy if they aren't symmetrical.
