What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I ordered the strap material online, cut them down to size, and added grommets for durability. Works perfect! I may actually make some TRD ones!

 

All kinds of webbing on ebay, grommet kits as well. Sure Amazon.com has the supplies also. It's a nice little mod. Quick and inexpensive.

Best way I've found to cut webbing is to place the webbing on spiece of scrap wood, heat up an inexpensive putty knife with a torch and with the putty knife vertical just push straight down. Straight clean cut every time and seals the edge with no unraveling.

I’ve done several things over the last couple of weeks. Replaced the remaining factor speakers with Kickers (major improvement imo, no pics), added OEM Bed Lights, and finished installing MESO Puddle Lights this afternoon!

 

Can't take any credit for that idea. Dog guy. Look at any nylon dog collar and they're all heat cut.

New side steps!

 

First oil change. Broke a stupid skid plate bolt. Added a Fumoto for good measure. Now to find replacement bolt....

Also derped my front valance to see if I like it.

Hey @EmanC19 I found them on eBay. They make non Toyota brand but I heard the fit and finish is not very good. I went with the Toyota brand a little expensive but I think they look a lot better. https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/283445037458

Mini mod.

I cut off a small piece of aluminum fascia that blew off my porch in the hurricane. Sanded it down and cleaned it up. Sprayed it with 4 coats of primer, added some double sided 3m automotive tape and stuck it inside my front skid. I held it up next to my truck and primer is surprisingly close to cement. Drove up and down the highway to and from work, still there. When life hands you lemons...you gotta make some mf’n lemonade...

 

I paid $115 from McGeorge Toyota Parts online. They are 2017 model lights. I’ve started a separate thread for them if you’re interested.
