Curious: Why do people still black out license plates when posting pics of their vehicles?

Got hung up trying to drive over a boulder, tried to save himself using the skinny pedal, caught traction, mustanged a crowd of bystanders and into the trench.

 

That is a very bad day.

 

Maybe he can use that shiny never used Hi Jack to jack himself out! LOL.

Its never funny when someone gets hurt but I sure would love to watch the nose of that jeep fold in half when they try pulling him out.

 

I'm not entirely sure how they got that thing out. That wasn't in a super accessible spot for a boom lifter that you'd need to get the leverage.

I never understood it either. Supposed someone drives around LA all day, how many see their plate #, maybe a million?
People are very paranoid these days and with good reason in some cases.

I have friends who say I'm crazy for posting under my real name on the internet, but doesn't bother me at all as if I'm making a statement I feel it's important that it's known whose making it. Right or wrong, that's how I feel about it.

In interest of all who may want them for whatever sinister purpose here's my license plate #s.
