I also found out today that I get a 10% discount because I have over 100K miles!

My dad bought a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 brand new in May 1996. He originally wanted a 1996 4Runner, but no dealership within 50 miles of our house was willing to go below sticker. The Pathfinder ended up being one of the greatest vehicles my family ever had! My dad was in the Navy, and during the first two years we owned it, it made two cross country trips. My dad paid it off in 2000 or 2001. In September 2005, my dad bought a 2003 Honda S2000 and I got my learner's permit a short time later. The plan was for the Pathfinder to become mine. However, I put off getting my license for another few years. By the time I was ready get my license, the Pathfinder had aged considerably and was starting to nickel-and-dime us.

My dad traded the Pathfinder for the 2010 Tacoma that I still have, and I never knew what happened to it until my dad found the original window sticker in 2015. I finally got around to running the VIN from the window sticker through Carfax in 2016, and found that the Pathfinder had been repossessed from the second owner in May 2010. After that, the trail goes cold...

My guess is that the Pathy is rotting in an impound lot or tow yard somewhere. The second owner seems to have lived in Fairless Hills, so I'm guessing it's not far from there. What are my chances of tracking down my old Nissan and buying it back?
