I know. I have a arid on my truck. But there kinda pricey and I'm going to shorten it up to fit the spacer so I don't want to pay that much for something I'm going to cut that's why I was asking about the pipe.
It dose make the area look cleaner.

and i only lost about $25 (maybe $37 with what i put back in) :spending: of Toyota coolant (1/2 gallon) that was only ~7k miles old

i called Amanda at Camelback in regards to these black hose clamps they sent to me that look nothing like my originals
she said they do not corrode but I have seen pics on TW with corroded hose clamps (from humidity i assume) but not sure what they are using so I just scraped some of the built up dirt on my silverish ones and slapped them back on.
One Toyota mechanic told me to change the clamps that Toyota hoses do not fail that often
but the indentations on my old hose were deep and set in over the years
and the new hose has a rougher texture, not as smooth as the one i took off
its all in the details anymore

ill give it a try, the metal seems soft, it wont fk up too bad beating with a hammer?? and PB blaster maybe then, any recommendations? using a 4 point standard socket 1/4 inch. I was smacking the end of the socket with a hammer after reducing the slack but no success

Think it'll help much more? just using standard 1/4 inch socket rn

I have one in a box that I had intended to install. I couldn't figure out how to do it without trimming the console surround. The fit up just didn't seem right since the metal plate is a bit thick.

I opted for this route (Seidio, I think).

interesting. I had to have my axle housing replaced after being hit so I never got the chance to see how the rear was sealed.

Replaced a broken corner light which I had converted to turn signals with amber VLEDS. Clear 3M over the lens.

VLEDs are so worth it. I have gone through so many garbage Amazon LEDs that eventually have some kind of failure.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is the clear 3M for?

It protects the acrylic lens from rock chips, scratches, fogging. I've pulled it off old lenses after years and the lens is brand new.

I did buy a bulk sheet but you can also get it pre-cut. I scanned one of the pre-cuts so I could make my own. If you print out the PDF 1:1 you can do the same. It works great to protect retrofits as well. My old retrofits were still like brand new when I upgraded them.
