That's what it all comes down to ... normal use, no worries with 33s. If you'll be rock crawling and need to turn at full lock while the wheel is stuffed all the up in the fender, yeah it's :sawzall: time.

Hmm, now that I think about it, I might as well do 33s

I want a set of beadlocks back in my life.

Trying to repro the pro after unproing it. Plus I'm trying to be @greenEFSI's ginger brother

Why do you ask about a-trac specifically?

A-Trac and abs work off reaction based off oem rubber hose give. I’m thinking stiffer braided hoses would cause those systems to over react. A quick google search rumored Lexus is300’s having increased stopping distances when abs is activated after putting braided lines. So I figured A-Trac would also be affected somehow. Im over thinking it, but genuinely curious lol.

I would be shocked if it made a difference. I have some heavy duty tow pads and noticed no change in the system.

I dig it dude! I've been thinking about tackling the job myself. I just started working at a transmission and driveline shop, and I've been building and tearing down semi truck diffs. It looks very similar to what I've built at work; have you done a writeup for the regear by chance? Thanks!

No I havent done a write up, I've done tons of regears so it's super easy on my opinion. Only took about 4 hours for me to do both diffs casually.

Ah nice. I'll have to look into it. I'm wondering if the pinion is set with shims or a crush sleeve, and obviously the ring and case is adjusted onto the pinion with the adjusting collars right?

o_O there is no sensor on the brakes.

Would like to see some documentation that confirms that it works off of rubber hose give as there is no way for the computer to measure that.

A-TRAC and ABS work off tire traction/slippage. The sensors are on the spindle/knuckle.

No one said sensors on brakes. Im referring to the abs unit and atrac braking unit, either way im getting the lines installed when my hammer hangers come in. I'll post back with the results lol

@SR-71A There is a local hose and fitting shop that will custom make them on the spot. I'm doing stock length front lines and +6" in the rear.

I didn’t “need” tires yet but I got a deal I couldn’t pass up. And when I got my swing out, I bought the ridge grappler as a spare (in anticipation of new tires) couldn’t look at the mismatch any longer haha.
