When My Daughter started Driving my Brother in Law was a PI, So I installed a RFID tracker on Her car and told Her it was on there. Every time I downloaded it She was behaving.
Now the process is so much easier like you said with an app. Do it I say money well spent.

Thx!, I haven't figured out yet on the final theme of this helmet. (ie: Weather, Black, Battle Damaged?) Right now it's just the filament color i printed it out in.

How 'bout this pedestrian 5-lugger, can this qualify for your thread? (It's still got the stock Dunflops). :D

    Afternoon fellas.

The parts gathering as begun. So far I've sourced 2 wheels and a lower control arm. Going to wait until I can evaluate the suspension more before I determine whether it will need a tie rod and or tie rod end.

My youngest daughter is 12 today. She's been through a lot the last couple of years. So proud of her and proud to be her father.

So you folks have a wonderful evening. I may or may not touch base tonight depending how late it gets after the birthday celebration. Gotta get up early tomorrow for work

Thanks Bill. This girl has been dealing with a chronic illness for 2.5 years. She's a trooper. ♡

Well, got the lower ball joints out. They actually still seem serviceable at 180,000 miles. However, now I can see the uppers are shot, as well as the driver's side outer tie rod is stripped. So she'll be up on jack stands for a few days.20190906_160052.jpg 20190906_155803.jpg 20190906_155656.jpg

Nice work man! Dig your single cab

Do the balljoints usually seize up on the first gens? I do remember reading somewhere about them being prone to failures

Yes, they are a poor design. And when they fail, the wheel literally falls off.

Many folks here recommend changing them every 100,000 miles. The lowers are fairly simple to replace, but I've never done the uppers. Going to need a puller and a press.

Since it's not my daily vehicle anymore I can take my time and figure it out.
