Next time you do a u-turn on pavement in 4Hi, turn up the radio.

Youre probably putting way too much thought into it.

The amount of force needed to damage the driveline in 4hi is greater than what the truck is able to produce.

If a CV breaks in 4hi then it was probably on the verge of failing anyway. I put my driveline through hell in 4lo and in tougher situations than a u turn.

If any damage was done that would not be a warranty thing - it would be user error.

Warranty is for manufacturing defects and such (correct me if I’m wrong)

I agree but the cv shouldn’t be clicking on a 2 month old truck after a u-turn in 4hi so u could argue it is a manufacturing thing no?

I have no idea honestly, could be. But the way everything was written- I screwed up and it damaged that so I’ll take it in for warranty.
