I do have a 100' of steel cable off of my Smittybilt X20 Wireless Winch if anyone wants it. It's brand new.

    I sure am.
Couple questions maybe you could answer.
    1) Do winches come with cables or no?
    2) If nobody goes for it, mind if I snag that too? In this case I would have to swing by to grab everything together.

Yes they come with cable, you can buy them with either steel or synthetic. I put synthetic on mine during the install.

Is it cheaper to replace the steel cable or just buy it with synth Rick?

Ahhh, thanks. I see Smittybuilt has a new XRC 3rd Gen. It has some really cool features for the price.

might have to look into that. I totally dig the indicator (I've seen winch lines snap, not pretty) & the built in lighting features!!

Well, overall for the money the added features and upgrades seem to me to be a no-brainer. The bumper I intend to put on the truck is rated for a 10k lb winch anyway so..........

    I like it.

Damn that does have some cool features.. Speed, power, spool light, 50 amp accessory stud.. Thats pretty neat if you got a portable compressor with alligator clips.

Not sure about the controller though. Looks like one trigger with a separate fwd/rev direction switch

Yea, I do have that type of compressor. I think for someone like me with no prior experience the trigger setup will be easier to learn. Maybe it's just another safety precaution? Which someone like can't have enough of. :tinfoilhat:
