We have had this conversation before. Is there a bench below one of those hills that creates the saddle ;)

I'm going to go with yes...

Mast crop is dropping hard here both white and red.

Most Native Americans associated the owl with death. And the medicine man that brought up the owl was feared.

The Toller in my avatar full name was Cayuga Sheshequin Sniper.

Was last Century when you could buy a 12 pound keg of gunpowder.

It is Iroquois, Cayuga is the kennel and means muddy lake. Sheshequin is medicine man or rattle, same thing. Let my youngest son name him the call name. Sniper. Aim small miss small.

Similar was posted on the smoking thread. @Bigdaddy4760 said who the hell only cooks one hot dog at a time. And talked about making a rack of them. He has skillz and still waiting...

    :spending:

Ain't you got heart problems? :p

Her being a youngin you would probably be safe. A more mature woman might take a bit longer to warm up. But once they warm up and get going they keep going. And going and going... might be dangerous.

But if she has heart I am all in for the rest of my life.

Hmmmm….. My first car was older than me. It was a '62 bug. My dad and I restored it from a junk yard frame.

A Mazda... There's no room for necking in there. It's tempting.

It is a 1999 Protege. We've had it for 7 years. Got my daughter through college. My son though his last two years in high school and into his new job. I gave him my Ford F150. Dropped the insurance on it so now it is just sitting in the driveway.

    :annoyed:
was using a topo map. good bucks behind this ridge and across the road. the ridge is between good deer spots. the ridge dips and makes a natural crossing and the hollows are steep as crap. we have a big topo at the barn. we pin in so nobody messes your hunt up. holes in the map shows hot spots people hunt. this lays between two hot spots and had never been pinned. . old school hunting!!

Oh yeah! I like the "bottle neck" too. Clear cut on both sides, about 100 yds of woods in the middle leading to and connected to woods on both ends.

Watching the last match tonight they had Hydra verses Bronco . These Bots weigh a max of 250lbs and Hydra using its flipper mechanism was flipping Bronco 20' plus into the air multiple times !!!

Geez. Ya'll are killing me. What is to expect though? I mean heck, you are born a guy. Less than half an hour after you are born you have a real nipple shoved in your mouth and you go through this for about 6 months to however long. Then, depending, you get a bottle with a fake nipple shoved in your mouth until you can eat solid foods. Then you go for about 15 to 20 years wondering where all of that went and when you are going to see that AGAIN, and society wonders why guys are passionate about boobs....

    Not my dadgum fault.

Another good tactic. If you can find a Mtg ridge with a field on one side, and come over the ridge to good semi thick woods on the other side - you can sit and wait on the woods side before daylight. You can catch them coming back from the fields in the very first light of day to their bedding grounds.

Yeah I still have a lot of topos from hunting back home in the Appalachians. "Up North" we called it a gut. In the South it was a Ravine. Out here it is called a Coulee.

Have shot my share of decent bucks back East in the "Mountains".

The Pope and Young HQ and museum is half an hour from my house. They moved here for a good reason. Real pigs, and most of the book racks come from around here.

Used to watch Gene and Barry Wensel on VHS and really didn't understand what River Bottom Bucks meant until I moved here.

Don't want to drag the Son of a Bitches out of the woods anymore. They can break 300 lbs around here. Grab part of the rack and go to drag up hill holy crap. SOB doesn't even move.

Birds you throw in your vest and on to the next. Boot leather wins. So does topos, google and maps from where ever you can get them. Prime habit is 12-14 years Aspen growth.

But birds like deer don't always play by the "rules". They are where you find them. In the woods not laying in the bed or sitting on the couch ;)
