Did a super stock mod tonight. Swapped out my factory fog bulbs with some yellow hellas. Also did the front license plate delete mod

Haha yeah i just took it off. Texas requires two plates, but i barely drive the truck, and i live in the country, so i dont think ill get bothered. I wish TX was a one plate state, they drill holes in your front bumper at the dealer down here for the plates.

Hope it's easier than mine. Probably all original, everything was rusted in place. I used a 3 foot breaker bar and it was still a bitch. At least there's room to work though.

Yes. Much more yellow and brighter than the pic shows. These things are 6.5 years old and still going strong. But they are pricey. Think I paid $65 for them in early '13. I haven't checked lately, but I believe they're around $100 these days

I've not used that tool...though I'm familiar with it.

Just finished up a left lower control arm, 2 outer tie rod ends (did both sides as I'm sure they were OEM). Tire Discounters moved the tires and sensor over to the 2 new wheels. Amazingly the tires were not damaged.

Car drives good. But the toe is way off....partly due to the new TR ends, as much as the impact itself. The new Moogs are a little shorter than OEMs. So dialing that in was hard. But it was off anyway.

Gonna drop it off Monday afternoon for a Tuesday morning alignment. Hopefully it's good to go after that

I'm surprised that tire was still good! I am getting the moog tie rod ends as well. Do they seem good quality? Did a bunch of hammering on the UBJ's, can't get either side to move. So I'll wait until Monday and borrow the 3 arm puller from work.

Thanks bud! Last week I couldn’t even come close to posting on here. Since then I have removed lift, bumpers, spider trax, and other armor. This thread has inspired me that you don’t have to have much to just have a “good lookin truck!”

I was shocked too. But I'll take it!

Yeah...no complaints on the Moog tie rod ends. I've used some of their stuff before.

The upper TR ends on the Yaris point upward. So a couple of blows by a hammer and they popped right out. I used my $20 Harbor Freight ball joint tool on the lowers. Came right off.
