I am if flag now. Low 90's. Not what I was expecting.

 

And people wonder why insurance rates suck. Not only does it cost more to fix all the safety shit. People arguably drive worse because they think they don't have to pay attention thus causing more accidents.

 

Speaking of that I have my in person interview on Monday 1pm. Speaking directly with the hiring manager. Really hoping I can lock it down and have an offer before we leave for UT. Can't get out of here soon enough. Boss knows I'm interviewing now and gives me more shit than anyone in the office even though I'm doing way more work.

 

just caught up on about 27 pages of this BS! glad to see the thread has caught some momentum again.

I just got back from a cruise in the Southern Caribbean where we got side tracked due to Dorian. Cruise was great and because of the hurricane we got 2 extra days of vacation

I always wondered what happens with cruises during Hurricane season! Making me jealous man. Cruising is one of the best ways I've ever vacationed.

hurricanes were definitely my biggest worry about the cruise, but the ships always plan ahead and we were never near any danger luckily. I will say that booking the flights and everything through the cruise company ended up being the best decision by far. NCL took care of everything for us to change flights/airport transportation. We literally had to do nothing but relax/booze and party during our time on the ship.

Speaking of big brother wait till you see the future of insurance. Nanny devices like obdII vehicle data plugins and GPS tracking will determine rate, thus eliminating going out for a fun spirited drive in a sports car. Drive safe and don't have accidents but like to accelerate/corner fast or late brake into corners too bad your rates higher.

Haaaaa yeah those things are miserable. I made the mistake of signing up for one once when I first got here. It's absolutely ridiculous what it interprets things as. I had a dash cam and I could sync what it called "hard braking" events and they were literal bumps in the road.

On the bright side it believes a 2TR equipped Tacoma is capable of "hard acceleration"
