Sort of, I know kids are getting phones now. But damn, I didn't get one until I was 17 and I was probably the first in my group of friends to have one lol. Of course, the idea behind cell phones was pretty different in the early 2000s compared to now. Hell I remember people in my HS that had pagers

 

I was the first kid in my school to have an iPhone in around 5th grade, back then it was the 3Gs. Always left it at home because I didn't want to lose it.

 

I've still never had an iphone and probably never will, Android for lyfe

I really don't have anything against them, hell I only use Apple computers....just somehow got on Android phones and never bothered to switch

Although iPhones do seem ridiculously fragile compared to android ones. I swear everyone I know with an iphone has a busted screen. In 10+ years I've only cracked one android screen.

hard to decide whether I should camp in it, cook it or make love to it

 

I defamed Apple publicly for 10 minutes on their terrible business practices, and how the American Consumer would be better without them.. but in the spirit of hypocrisy I've never had a phone that wasn't an iPhone, and my last two laptops were MacBooks.

 

I had a phone when I was 12, too




For real though, my grandparents had a rotary phone up until they passed away about 10 years ago. Thing was a relic
