I ran through the car wash. From this distance, you can't even tell that it has about 7,000 scratches! I'll work on the interior Sunday.

I've tagged pretty much everyone who has posted here.

I'd like everyone to reply if possible:

    1-Are you attending?

2-are you bringing anyone else along?

3-when do you plan on arriving? and leaving?

4-will you be setting up a tent, or sleeping in your truck/RTT?

5-any questions or ideas to add?

I will be arriving on Thursday. I'll get a site secured and head somewhere with reception to post the site number here.

    You're going to need:

-CB radio (if you have one)
    -Camping gear/sleeping arrangements
    -recovery gear
    -cooler/refreshments/whatever you plan on cooking/snacks
-waders if you have them(if you plan on playing in the mud)
-whatever else you would bring when you're heading out to the woods
-warm clothes-it's going to be cold at night!
    -rain gear
    -Camp chairs
-if anyone has a canopy tent, please bring it if possible. It's supposed to rain, so any shelter we can get would be great.
-whatever cooking gear you plan on using

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff.

I'm guessing we'll all cook our own food mostly. We'll have to share a firepit. I will probably bring a tripod if I can find it. There is probably a grate on the firepit that can be used for some cooking.

Friday will be a free for all. I'll be hanging out at the campsite to greet people as they arrive.

Saturday morning, we'll have breakfast/coffee/etc, and probably head to the trails around 10am. I figured we could explore the trails until around 5pm and then head to Jungle Jim's for dinner.

Saturday evening we'll have a bonfire and beers and relax and shoot the shit.

Sunday morning we can do breakfast/coffee and pack up and head out.

I'm hoping to discuss the plan for Saturday's shenanigans on Friday night or Saturday morning.

At this point, I'm hoping to start on the south end and go play in the sand and mud. I have waders so I can check the depth and how soft the mud is underneath. This will be a good opportunity for anyone who wants to get in the mud while they have other vehicles around to pull them out.

Then, I'd like to head up Jack Pine road and stop at the big rock for everyone to get a chance to climb up and get a photo.

From there, we can head to Buck's Ranch road and check out that section. Then we can head to dinner.

Also, I'll be there Thursday. If anyone's interested in coming up early, let me know.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

I’m planning on arriving Saturday Morning and make a long day of it. My wife will probably tag along also.
The only thing that would stop me from showing up is if work is scheduled that day.

I won’t be able to attend. We have a wedding in Chicago. I tried to get out of it. Unfortunately unavailable.

I'm all in - I'll be solo, planning to arrive Friday night and depart Sunday morning. Setting up a cot/tent and I'll have some miscellaneous items with me, like a shovel/axe/hatchet, as well as some bubba rope, traction boards, and soft shackles, as needed.

Edit: If anyone is planning on airing down/up, I'll have a compressor with me, though it won't be the fastest.

I also have on board air (ARB single) that I can share around, but honestly this trail doesn’t need aired down.

Looking to be a maybe. Getting some stuff finished on the truck...hoping to be done before then so I can join in. Free all weekend, staff meeting Friday morning but I am free after that to head up.

Will keep you posted on my availability. Sorry for the radio silence, been abroad for the last 2 weeks.

If that rocky hill doesn't require airing down, I can't imagine what would.

I realize that we'll mostly be bypassing it, but just saying.

I air down for my own comfort mostly. Plus it's much better for deep sand. IDK how soft the sand is on that south end, but I nearly got stuck in deep sand last summer driving on a beach. I aired down the next time I went and it was completely different.

That’s what I meant, if the only rocky part is the piece everyone is skipping, we don’t need to air down.

The sand was fine. I didn’t air down, and did not really need 4wd. As for the comfort, I get it but these roads are so nice... try driving 40 miles of aggressive washboard out west... having lived out west my whole life, I have been utterly shocked at how rock free and smooth the FS roads are out here.

    Gotcha.

I'll still be dropping a few pounds for my ass's sake:D

I have an inflator, but it's pretty weak. I usually just drop to 25-ish and air up at a gas station.

I'd be interested in a demo of your onboard air setup.

Its an ARB single. it’s hard wired, lives in the cubby in my bed, and takes ~10 minutes to get all four of my tires from 17 up to 38psi. I like it. Probably would have gotten the twin, but the wife bought it for me, so it is what it is.

I had a small compressor (1/3 hp) that I kept in the Tacoma, but it was so slow I gave it to a friend. I have a decent 12v, but definitely not sufficient for airing up truck tires. It's okay for emergencies

I am still going. Should be arriving around noon on Friday leaving sunday morning is my best guess. I'll be using a tent or hammock depending on what is available.
My buddy will be going and using a roof top tent and we will be riding up the same time.

I'll bring a few bundles of kiln-dried firewood. It passed in a wisco state park this last weekend.
