My co-worker “The T shirt guy” made them for us.

I should have the t-shirts early next week.
I’ll post a picture when I get them.

Now THAT SUCKS donkey balls, but totally understand brotha!!! Believe me, "I" get it!!! I hope all is well.

Personally, I would LOVE to do White Mountain as I've never done it before, but I don't know how to get to the trailhead and not knowing the area doesn't help.

Anyways, again, hope things work out man!!!:fistbump::drunk:

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the picture. I believe the rule of thumb is to have, at least, "2-3x threads past the head of nut"? If I remember right? :notsure:

If it was more of a non-bearing load type "fastener", of sorts, then I wouldn't worry about it. But in this case, I would consider that a bit more crucial for holding things together. :notsure:

Well, THAT wasn't good!!! Immediately I'm thinking though, why were people still "filming"??? :notsure: Some of them went into immediate action to check things out and such, while others were filming.

    Anyways, yeah, not good.

If I recall correctly, they had to drag him out to a point a tow truck could get to him and that he paid for the repairs out of his pocket so that it wasn't reported on his insurance and title. It probably didn't go over too well with the Mrs.

I believe the story is that several people told them their plan was terrible and it was executed anyway.

I'm not sure about you but if I tell a guy that's down a u-bolt that getting winched downhill is not recommended and he goes "I got this" I will absolutely be filming.

Jesus H!!!:bananadead: That could NOT have been a cheap repair either... I would imagine? I could just see all kinds of chassis damage at that point being twisted and contorted. WOW!!! :goingcrazy:

Ahhhh, then it is on him then!!! I don't mean to be a di**head, but that was NOT a very bright move on his part then!!! IF, that is exactly how it went down... HAHAHAHAHAHA, no pun intended!!!:rofl::rofl:

Long story short, last year when Jase @BandanaBerg and Jimbo @NotRed did the lower half of Heartbreak, we walked the hill first from top down towards the bottom. I was willing to do the trail as the first 3/4 starting from the top did not look all that hard although I could picture pucker factor moments on my part, but when we got towards the bottom, I could tell that it would NOT have ended well for my truck. Jase made a comment, "you should only scrape a little bit..." or something along those lines and then he looked at me and started laughing saying, "just joking man, I wouldn't want you to go through that and have you ruin your truck..." or something along those lines.

At the time, my truck only had 235/75/15 and stock height 4wd. This year, I at least was able to get my 31 10.50's.

Anyways, the point being, Jase was AWESOME on caring for other people's stuff and recommending NOT going down given the situation. I was still willing to go down because I felt bad for being the one not being able to complete the trail and having those guys end the trail short because of me, but yet, at the same time, I didn't want to risk leaving part of my truck there either!!!:rofl::rofl:

Btw, I would just go just to do Tip Top Mountain again. NOT a super hard trail and a good trail for beginners to even intermediate. The rocks are a bit sharp pretty much the whole way up and the hill side, from what I remember is pretty narrow in some spots. Other than that, not all that hard of a trail, but yet FUN for sure!!!:fistbump:

I do remember that if you don't choose your lines all that well, you will "hit" something under your truck going up and over the rocks as you go up/down the trail.

Anyways, totally recommend Tip Top Mountain.
