ugh... all this IUP talk. I can't wait until school is back out. I swear the population doubles when college is in.

FYI, I saw a very nice silver DC sport today in monroeville, looked to be sittin on 33's, black wheels... very nice

Haha Indiana PA?, the ONLY time you guys have population is when school is in session! But no for real, I helped pilot a program there on campus, so I stayed one summer. Oh my gosh. There was NO ONE THERE. Like ANYWHERE. AND some places closed down! I did not approve. I miss the 5 guys bugers and fries up there...it was a sad day when they closed...

My husband and I were in Erie, PA overnight on a trip back from Canada.

Just wanted to say.... We ate lunch at a place called Quaker Steak & Lube.
    http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/

This place was really cool!!! The burgers were frigin AWESOME!!!!

They had several race cars & motorcycles hanging from the ceiling. A couple cars up on lifts (with tables underneath) and a fullsized corvette hanging from the wall (sideways).

Awesome place! If you ever get near one, you gotta eat there!

YES!! I had the Philly Burger. Lettuce, tomatoe, grilled onions, mushrooms, provolone cheese. I'm HUNGRY!!

The lettuce/tomatoe were on the bottom and the onions & mushrooms were piled sooooo high...I couldn't open my mouth big enough to bite into the thing!!

Damn, why can't they be down here in Lancaster?

Hey. So I was born in clearfield co. hospital. And spent my summers farming and trout fishing around the irvona, coalport, houtzdale are.
Is any one familier with these areas?
Also, I am of slovak backround and my grandmother who is still alive and has moved to indiana to be close to my mom, cooks me these halacious meals when I get home to indiana.
Kielbasa and saur kraut which there is none here in the south.
Pigs in the blanket. I think it's pork and saurkrat.
And something called or close to " stutzenyena". It's like a cold meat pie (pork). With the fat stuff like on the top of pickled porks feet.
I also remember my gramma teaching me a rhyme when I was very small. something to the effect of "Studda Bubba moisheka, nyuck, nyuck pedeshi, tushika"
I used to call my great gramma( her mother) Bubba.
Does anyone know what i'm talking about? probably only the older peeps.
