In my opinion, a 3" spacer lift on the front of your truck makes it difficult for the front suspension to operate properly.

If I were you (and I say this knowing I don't have the full story regarding your truck) I would remove the 3" spacers and install 2" spacers and see if the clunk and vibrations change or disappear.

I didn’t think a simple 3 by 1 leveling kit could screw with my truck so much thought these things could handle simple lifts and 33s kinda why I bought the truck

I don’t think my tires will clear with me switching to 2 inches

What’s the best way to lift it ? I like the height I’m at don’t want it taller or lower everything clears perfectly only problems are the vibrations and clunking on acceleration

    Slight lift
This problem is consistent with most lifted and leveled trucks had same problem that's why now I stay stock they look good lifted but constant problems everyone I know who lifted had same issues so how to fix it is two ways I only know sell the truck it's gone problem solved or go back to stock and take off your lift kit sorry but a fact of life or just deal with it

I had a 1.25 block in my truck for a year and never had issues. No carrier drop or shim.

I’ve got 2.75 in the rear currently and run a 3 degree shim. No carrier drop.

My co worker had bought a 2018, same DCSB, I compared drive line to mine an I was only out by half a degree on final drive shaft into rear diff. (current setup of 2.75)

In your case you have a 2.7L so guessing you’re not a double cab, so you’ll have to work off your buddies truck. Or even crawl under a dealership truck to see where you should be at.

Watching this video doesn’t make you an expert —-but at least gives you and idea of what might be happening. Lol

One more thought I had just know is that if you throw 400-500 pounds of what ever in the bed does the noise go away? (Obviously weight will change last drive shaft angle)

These trucks can easily handle simple 3” lifts but a stupid spacer lift is another level.

Fix your truck by removing it entirely.

A clunk is pretty generic, it could literally be anything.

When lifting you may not need the CB drop and you may not need shims, maybe you need both or a combination. Shims are usually 1 degree per inch of lift.

I’m lifted 3 inches front and rear and run neither. No vibes or clunks.

Tacomaworld is a compendium. I recommend you spend some time reading and researching so when you make changes to your truck you are fully informed.
Not true at all, problems are exceptional and are easily diagnosed.
