    Why yes I do...

There are several shops that specialize in Winchesters. Posted mine that I inherited from my gandpa that has killed more that its share of deer.

But I also have reached the point in my life that I don't have to shoot them either. That is where the work begins.. I don't mind shooting them with the digital thing though...

If I had to get a gun restocked no doubt about it Wenig.

Winchester 21 on the left is stocked by Wenig and a custom fitting. 75% Select wood. And he shoots it like a wild man despite the Full choke being .042. Rob has the Winchester 21 in the middle and the AyA on my buggy. And wins most of the double guns shoots in the US.

Wenig will set you up right. Got to see Kim Rhode win the Gold in the Olympics in 96. Jimmy at Wenig fitted her as well as Jon's gun.

I will never have Olympic Rings on any of my guns. Watched Kim win the Gold at Atlanta (Wolf Creek shooting Complex) in 96. And watched her come in 3rd at Rio to become the first Olympian to win in 5 continents.

She has suffered reproduction issues and many other issues that most men don't go through. But refuses to give in to them and pushes through them all.

She uses Wenig and Jimmy. He is getting ready to retire. Don't waste time just do it.

2nd batch of meat just loaded into the dehydrator. Funny how you can turn a few lbs of meat into a whole lot less weight. Threw on some granulated garlic , onion powder, chili powder, paprika and black pepper. I did 2 trays with that mix plus a dash of cumin just to see what it'd do. When this batch is done we'll try it out and see. Thinking I'll dry some more tomato, banana, zucchini and apple this weekend. Strawberry turns out well also but I don't remember seeing any at the store.

Well it is that whole dehydrate thing, remove moisture and weight shrinks by a lot :p

Youngest a couple of nights ago asked it I would bring him back some pepper jerky as I was heading back from shooting. I waited until I got home and told him no. Just have a hard time paying that much for packaged meat. Prefer to do it myself but is a lot of work on the smoker. Piazza screens and oak spacers help production.

Have done it on the dehydrator and liquid smoke and have to admit is easier and pretty darn good.. You and that old fucker city boy in Maine helped me convince it was worth a shot.

    So far anyhow...

Not really just some mild wind and rain bands. Call it trash trees and lack of tree maintenance .

Good morning all. Not many warm Saturdays left this year so I have to finish as much of the boat painting as I can. I have a 50th birthday party to go to tonight - cousin of mine. He's getting a bottle of 10yr Whistle Pig straight rye whiskey from me now that he's old enough to savor the flavor versus a swig down the hatch...
