The sport gives a hood bulge behind the scoop. That's more room for the intercooler on the TVS R1900 Supercharger that will hopefully be living under my hood... some day.

Why do some Tacomas have compass on rearview, mine doesn't have 1... I had SR5, no funky colors in the interior, I had MGM, could be based on color truck

For me, I simply preferred Barcelona Red color to the only one other decent/low mileage Taco on the lot.
I don't really offroad or need a locker. The 4x4 is more of a rather have it and not need it sort of thing.
The OR v Sport suspension debate didn't matter to me as I swapped out the suspension anyway.

I got the sport because it was the used taco I could afford at the time and I didnt know any better. If I had it to do over I would have looked for an off road.

This site cracks me up. Somebody starts a Ranger vs Tacoma thread: All Taco owners unite! Somebody starts a Pro vs OR/Sport thread: "Pro's are stupid"/ "Pro's are the best". Somebody starts an OR vs Sport thread: "My truck type is the only logical choice and yours is stupid because reasons". I mean I've only had my Taco for 2 months and been active on this site for a month or so but I've seen this same thread and overly defensive responses like 50 times.

If mine crap out early I'll replace with Fox for sure. My friend in AZ has ran the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo on his 2nd Gen AC for awhile and has had no issues.

Personally, I prefer the ol' key system to the push start, but it is what it is...

You heard wrong about the manual, or at least my manual didn’t get the memo. There is a point where it’s not allowed to go any faster, but it’s not because the truck doesn’t have it in it.

That would not be a deal breaker, but I've got to say I really like the Push Start feature. Just throw the fob in my pocket and go all around town and never need to touch it. Leave it in the truck by accident? It will beep like hell so it's near impossible to lock it in the truck. I'm casually looking at Mazda MX5's as a f around car and the older ones still have keys which I'll happily live with once the wife okays the purchase.

My back yard is most of the off-road I do.

They are all scoop-curious but don't want to admit it.

its amazing what we find inconvenient. i came from a luxury suv with push button start and while its nice i cant say it would sway me either way. i remember having a car without a remote...
