This has probably already been asked but I just can’t find it. I want to put 33’s on my ‘17 TRD off road but keep the stock rim for now. What is the max size I can fit on the stock rim? Thanks for the help!

Just for clarity, do you mean max width you can put on that wheel that is 33" tall?

The widest you could go realistically on the stock wheel is 285; keep in mind most tire companies would recommend a 7.5"+ wheel for 285. Lots of people around here running the 285/75R16 on stock wheels. The 255/85R16 would get you the 33" tire and the tire manufacturer would say the 7" rim would be acceptable.

Check the tire manufacturer website for what ever tire you want to run at what ever size, they will have a chart showing min and max wheel dimensions.

Just run a search for largest tire and you’ll see hundreds of results.
