they are doing all the adjusting after the GB is done, it has to be done manually since this is a promotion for TW members, not linked to the payment option.

i remember reading somewhere that you can email the rebate in for a quicker turn around. Does anyoneknow where to email it? It took 5 minutes max btw, not sure what everyone was complaining about, i thought it was very easy to do.
    thanks

And thanks Jag for putting this together

Does anyone have pics of how to run the cable from the rear view mirror or if someone is going to do this mod could they please take some pics?

I would like this up and out of the eyes of any lowlife scumbag that would break in and snag it. Not liking the drivers side air vent position. Thats just like advertising for a broken window and who knows what else when they try to grab that and run!

just tuck it in the headliner and remove the driver's a-pillar to run it there and drop in beside the ODB port

This is why i asked for pics.

First off thank you for the info! Just not sure what the 'headliner' would be but i am thinking its the roof portion of the clothe? How does that come apart to slide the cable through. Also on the a-pillar. I do see a tab that you have to take off and i woul imagine there i a screw inside. Once you take that off then what? Never done it before so i would like to understand how to take that apart to avoid myself breaking or bending something..........any more info would be great!

    O Brother....

The wire just tucks up into the headliner (Yes, the roof). The A pillar removes by first removing the 2 pastic caps with a flathead screwdriver (or a plastic dash removal tool if you have one, to avoid damage) on the handle and then unscrewing the (2) 10mm bolts and the whole a pillar just pulls off easily. It's that easy.

Hey something that YOU may think is so easy to others may be not so. I just like to have a an idea of what's in front of me to get the mod done.

    Thanks anyway. :notsure:

dont have/cant do pics since i'm at work....but the headliner is the material attached to the roof. to remove the a-pillars, there are 2 pop outs on the 'oh shit' handle and a screw beneath each. remove those and the handle and pillar can be removed (clipped in, IIRC). there should be an area at the base of the a-pillar to pass the connector through and it will come down the side of the dash to where the ODB port is.
