I've been considering removing my Air Dam ever since I got my '18 Sport about a year ago and finally did it today. I Really Like the Look.
    What do you think?

    Truck looks good man!

That thing is hideous imo. I removed mine couple months after purchasing truck. Looks way better, like its lifted a bit. No noise or mpg drop that i noticed. Will never put it back on.

Cool. Just like the offroads and the pro. Such innovation. People are going to follow in your footsteps. Tacomaworld hero.

When I had my sr5 that was the first "mod" i did. You won't notice the difference in mpg, and when you see other trucks with them on, you'll be glad you took yours off.

Didn't imply it was innovation, but thought the photos may be helpful for those with Sports who are considering removing theirs.

I thought I may be putting it back on, after taking it off "IF" I didn't like it. But I do. I didn't really know how much of the 'stuff' underneath was going to show until removing it.

I removed the lower air dam within the 2 hours of bringing my truck home from the dealer. The lower air dam is still on my brother's truck. Both trucks are used in very similar ways, I noticed no difference in fuel consumption or noise. I know it serves a purpose, however, for me, the front of the truck looks better with it removed.

That air dam could be problematic in deep snow, better to remove now than then.

I took mine off a while back. I hit a deer and when I got it back from the shop, it had a new one on. I’ve been meaning to remove it but never got around to it. Thanks for reminding me, I’m going out to do it right now.

I'm probably one of the few, but I prefer to have it on. Granted. It may be one MPG better, but I'll take what I can get.

    I still get my smiles-per-gallon. :)
