I am in the middle of the registration process for OVTune and I got hung up by my norton antivirus. I can’t get the p5flash part to work so I can get my registration number and OVTune will not respond until they are open on Monday.
Anyone else have this problem? I’m thinking of deleting files and starting over.

I remember reading a thread where this guy was trying to claim OV Tune was a virus and he had it independently tested and all kinds of dumb shit. His end result said it was a virus. A lot of people replied to him stating that you need to disable your antivirus software in order for the files to work properly. This has to do with the files encryption to keep it from being copied and sold.

Moral of the story, try starting over and disable your antivirus this time

You shouldn't have to delete and reinstall anything. Go into your Norton software and look for the blocked file. If you find it, add it to the whitelist/exception list.
