Man, no kidding shit pics here. It first I thought that the first picture was cropped weird because he didn’t want to show the plate, but BAM, there it is in the second pic. I mean was he going for an unspectacular scenery shot? Was his wife posing topless by the bumper and he cropped it out?

There are always outliers and people willing to break the law. I'm talking about the majority of the population that aren't in that group. Most people don't know anybody with access to DMV records and aren't going to go through the trouble to find one. I'm sure there are plenty of crooked LEOs out there willing do it if you know one.

 

I stopped caring once I realized that driving in Bay Area traffic will expose my license plate to more people then an ad on Facebook or Craigslist ever could.

I like the "minor modifications." I wonder if he's referring to hacking off some sheet metal to accommodate the bumper.

 

Nice looking truck. With it being an ‘05 and around 150k miles, wonder if the lame head gasket issue has been dealt with.

$11k to install? Seems excessive. Must've been installed by a dealer.

 

This talk scares me. I have an 06 with 148k. I'm sure the head gasket was a problem for the 06 as well?

 

Do believe it was more of a 03-05 thing, 06 up they changed gasket design.

 

Toyota changed HG design in Nov 2005. Doesn’t promise that the HG won’t go, but that is when they made a change.
