“Normal” would be to de-burr before powder coating. But if this level of quality Is “normal” @ Victory 4x4 then don’t think I will be going back for seconds. Going to finish my built with more quality products.

Taking a little bit time to de-burr the product before powder coat is not much to ask and will go a long way to keeping a customer base.

These trucks look so much better with a rack but these quality control issues are pretty scary. This is minor stuff being overlooked.

I'm confused why anyone would buy the victory roof rack if a better quality one is less than a hundred dollars more.

Well I just sent off a PM on Instagram, asking of I can specifically request de-burring on a rack I plan to order.

Will see if it is indeed "to much to ask".

In my configuration, there is another $88 Shipping. I refuse to pay for shipping at that rate.

Even if the rack disappoints, I am out almost a hundred bucks in unrefundable shipping.

I think the wise purchase for the time being would be for people to pick up the Prinsu. They seem to have their quality control in order. And they ship within a few days of ordering now.

You shouldn't have to request for a deburring as they are obligated to de-bur them for you.

Contact them with these thoughts. Unless they get a lot of backlash there isn’t going to be a change.

They need to get this sorted out, it’s completely unacceptable. If they need to adjust the price, fine. But, they shouldn’t be ok sending things out the door like this.

I worked for a company that did all it’s own cutting, welding and PC in house. This shit never would have passed QC.

Already Emailed them with my thoughts along with plenty of photos, as well as leaving a voicemail. Can’t do anything more than wait and see how they respond. Will keep you guys posted!

I agree, if it's too much to ask then I will pass. Im trying to politely tell them I want to buy their product, but have QC issues I would like to see addressed.

I know there is a sub forum for the Prinsu addressing this for the Prinsu, but what have people done to reduce wind noise with the Victory rack? Mine makes a pretty decent roaring noise at freeway speeds. It seems to be coming more from the passenger side. I have the non cut out front deflector.

I went with that 42" Amazon slim bar. Ill just trim the rack a bit like that other dude did.

I told them the exact same after receiving the center console molle panels with the same issues.

I was seriously considering their rack but their QC and shipping processes need an overhaul. They wrapped my panels in a black trash bag and threw them in a box to ship. Do you think they arrived even further damaged?

I have the non cutout front deflector. I have almost zero wind noise. Did you push the wind deflector all the way down to the roof?

I saw the picture you posted. I cut part of the rubber molding to put on the back where the bar touches near the brake light.

I moved all the bars back today and noticed a significant reduction in noise. I’ll move the wind deflector as low as I can tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

So you moved all the T-slotted cross bars to the back of the slot on the side rails and it cut down the noise?

I did. It made a big difference for freeway speeds. I never really heard anything until about 55mph.

It looks like some guys with the Prinsu racks remove the first cross bar completely. I think with lowering the wind deflector and movin the bars back I wouldn't really need to remove a bar

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. I am in the same boat...no wind noise until I’m at highway speeds. I had expected some but would like to reduce it as much as possible
