    Exactly. In fact I wish everyone I ever paid to do anything had ocd like me… then I’d know it was done right. But that’s not the case so it’s best to do it yourself and do it right.

    Who do you think they would have do the job? Someone that is more into detail on the shop floor or the grunt. Are they going to properly prep or spend the little bit of extra time? How about lining everything up- and even more so to your standards? I will assume it’s just a matter of slapping it on to them but it’s you that will have to see it everyday pointing and laughing at you and your ocd. Just my thoughts

    OP, honestly you would do a better job yourself because it's your truck and youd take the time to do it right.

    Unless the dealership is doing overlays you'll probably get them slapped on "about right" by the junior guy.

    True that.... for Porsche, they have a full template that overlays the body panel to help them align the badges. Not sure how the other OEMs do it.
