    So i have seen many people mount their hi-lifts under the bed cover, however i am not sure if any of them were Diamondback's. I would imagine that if the cover sits above the bed rail then it will fit fine.

    Also i have found that if you purchase spring nuts (
    $11 Thomas & Betts GIDDS-461512 ZA1003/8EG-10 Spring Nut 5 Per Bag, 3/8", Silver
    found here) and rip out the spring (east to do) then you can insert the nut anywhere and will not have to remove items that are already mounted. You will also be required to buy bolts and washers, but this is a super easy and clean way to mount/dismount items. The hardware that i ship out will require you to dismount anything already mounted to that rail.


    3/8" spring nuts can be found on Amazon or in your local hardware store.

    Glad to see the X bull boards fit in that spot!! I have the same pair in the same color haha and was thinking of putting them there.. Did you just get a pair of universal mounts with hardware?? And what hardware did you use to attach the boards to the mounts?

    Purchased and installed and extremy happy with the product AND the customer service!!     I've got the bakflip bed cover so my rails sit slightly lower than factory. Curious if anyone with the same cover has gotten the universal mounts/if OP makes an alternative for an axe and shovel for those of us with bed rails that sit lower than factory.
