And everyone wonders why I don't sit outside this time of year and man a smoker grill for 8 hours on and off. I used to smoke chickens this time of year. Didn't do it last year because of the heat. Looks like the same this year. By the time it finally cools off, I will be directing duck traffic because of the Noah's Ark rains everyday.

Yeah, i did the invite to the deer cabin ONCE. Only once. Didn't take long for me to figure out what that was all about. Wasn't about deer hunting. It was about drinking whiskey until you pass out and getting away from the wife. And, I don't drink whiskey. So I was in Hee Haw hell trying to sleep while the Sphincter Orchestra was playing from the whiskey drinkers.

Looks like we're supposed to dip down to 95-ish midweek then back up to 100. Who knows, this may be the start of our cool down?

Reminds me of a discussion I had with a friend of mine once. It was like 28 degrees that day and he asked me why was I shivering. I told him because I am freezing. His response was "at least it is not 15 degrees".

Well I will be dadburn. Thank goodness for that.:annoyed:

So, I took all of you guys advice and had my oil changed at the Toyo dealership this morning. It was only $53 bucks. I will do that from now on.
    Thank you for your advice.

    Ok here is my day.

Traveled for 7 hours in the truck, my wife cracked the wheel on her Subie and the tire won't hold air, so into the truck we go.

She told me it is Dusty, dirty and smells and makes noise.
    I know.

We are traveling about 4 hours and I hear a loud bang on the driver door, scared the poop outta me. Turns out the molding around the fender let go and smacked into the drivers door. It was still attached by the 3 screws behind the tire.
I took the screws out and tossed the molding in the back.

My wife quizzed me for 20 min on what happened.

Then an hour later I was going up a hill, came over a rise and a highway patrol hit his lights and I pulled over. Said I was going 90

In this truck? He started telling me about the specs on my truck and how I could get to 90, then he goes on about lifting the truck and how bigger tires will throw off the mile per hour by 8%.

I am arguing the whole time.

Turns out he has a lifted tacoma and was just giving me a warning.

    And yet I still argued.

He finally told me to shut up or he would give me a ticket.

    I shut up

    My wife laughed.

Then we talked trucks for 15 min.
