That was years ago. I can handle our G19 very well and the 9mm is a very good caliber for me.

Once I'm 21, I'd like to have a Glock 42 for daily carry. I'm too scrawny to hide a Glock 19

I like 9mm and i want my Springfield Lightweight Operator 1911-A1 in 9mm, but it's been hard finding one for a good price used. I won't buy Springfield new anymore.

I'll probably switch to CZ exclusively, but I'm just barely getting my equipment for CZ to where I want it. @Nopro carries a compact CZ and i want that, but the size of my SP-01. The only problem I have carrying my SP-01 is the long beavertail stabs me in the side carrying it.

You'll be surprised what you can carry with a high-end belt and holster. I was able to run an army combat load with my Beretta inside my waistband and also compete with my exact carry setup when I was in shape. Belt, holster and mag pouches was $250 by itself, but 5 years later they're all still perfect. I'm just too fat to fit my good belt. :pout:

Again, carry gear makes the setup.

We only have 1 holster and it's a Safari land retention holster used primarily by the cops. We don't take guns anywhere so the holster is just collecting dust. I don't know much about gear and other accessories

Does the 17 hold more rounds than the 19?

I used to carry an M&P 9 full-size with Streamlight TLR-1 inside my waistband with two magazines as spares for a year. The belt and holster make the setup, for sure.

Yes, the 17 holds 17+1. The 19 is 15+1. 17 also has a longer barrel

Safariland is the best for retention holsters, but not good for concealed carry (obviously lol)

I carried a 19 for a couple years and got a deal too good to pass up on my 17. Once I got it, I put it in my holster, realized it was just as easy for me to carry and that I shot it better. So I sold the 19 and never looked back. Plus the 17 was the original Glock
