Ya my son has it in his CRV, and it really isn't much better than Entune, for my use.

$1500 is probably a better price than the cost of a new head unit from a 2020.

I was told Toyota is not going to be selling the head units with AppleCar Play. It they did it would be around 5k.

Buy a joying head unit for a corolla, 300 dollars, boom apple car play, android wireless. Works great. Some quirks but meh that’s to be expected for the price.

Large thread on it here on the forums as well. Many of us have jumped ship from the taco stereo. My reason was it kept restarting and going dead. Second i now have Gaia maps on the head unit and yes it works!

$650 you can get wireless CarPlay Kenwood or $450 you can get a 9" Android Dasaita with wireless CarPlay, ordered and patiently waiting for it to arrive! Not worth $1500 for the OEM upgrade which had issues like most aftermarket stereos from my experience(random glitches).

I’d much rather pay for a new headunit for $1500. You’d get more features too. I really love CarPlay

I emailed them, their website says $500 USD with the Korean Conversion. That’s for the Lexus module, wondering if it’s cheaper since this is just a Toyota module.
