running initial beta 2.0, 87 octane for 4.88's with GL. No plan to ever go to OLE. Truck has enough going on and don't need to add another element when it is now working fine.

Ive got 3000 miles on the 2.0 4.88 87 p+gl beta tune and it's the best one yet imo if you have 4.88s. I've had every version of the tune from the start and the progression has been incredible.

Shifting is good when using your foot but cruise control still needs some work if you are cruising 75+ with any elevation. I live in Texas and speed limits are 75 or higher on the highways usually.... And we have 7 hours of highway to get to the mountains... Makes for a lot of time to see CC shift into 3rd and hit 5k+ rpms

2.0 is light years ahead of any of the previous tunes IMO. At least for us autos.

    There's no at least.

Same for MTs. I'm closing in on 1,700mi of 2.0.

The first tune, 04B04 2.0 87 10867 FTW! It definitely performed the best in my truck. The latest 2.0 did make the truck feel a bit sluggish after some miles.

Can anyone send me a 2.0 file since they aren’t up for download? Or is that not allowed?

Good question. If it’s cool with Matt, I would share all the 04B04 2.0 tunes.

Agree. The 2.0 4.88 87 oct beta (non-OLE) is WAY more responsive, fun to drive, power and gets good mileage so far on the freeway. I like this tune. Just needs to hold 3rd a tad longer

Why would it not be released the same as every other tune version?

We are getting it from the website because it's an exclusive access beta that not everyone is meant to have access to.

I had to "Whitelist" both the OVTune and OpenECU folders in Norton to get mine to work.

It’ll be in FM. It isn’t currently because it’s beta and various things are being tested.

I totally agree. Aside from the short shift at 3rd, the original 4.88 gear lock 2.0 beta tune is just about perfect in my opinion.

I went back to the first 2.0 beta GL 93 non-OLE tune today. It’s my favorite 2.0 tune.
