    Oh for sure, I have been in ground ops my entire career. Wanted to be a pilot, stopped because the job outlook blew at the time, going to do recreational flying now. Currently run a team that does GSE and facility equipment maintenance planning and specifications. Definately a unique part of the aviation world for sure. Much more exciting than the button pushing (flying) side of airlines...:D

    I know a couple guys in ops at KLAX, did a ride a long the other day and it made me regret not going that way as a career path lol. Checking for FOD doing 90 down the runway is fun lol.

    I was so glad to see that airline go under when I was working at an FBO at midway. Trying to shoehorn all of an MLB teams shit into the mad dogs bagged compartments SUCKED. I have a scar on my face from when the handle broke off one of the brewers cases, and I hit myself in the mouth and their equipment manager started yelling at me as to why did I stop the belt loader. I threw the handle at him, and hurled expletives as I walked across the ramp spitting out blood.

    I miss working the ramp some days but not dealing with some of the "personalities" out there. I never could grasp why the sport that uses the least amount of equipment had the most crap out of any of the major sports.

    Looks like Win Aviation scooped up a fleet of DRMO'd USAF jump trainers. Whole fleet is Skyvans and Sherpas with the reg numbers clearly painted over the serials.
