I forgot to make my damn picks this week until mid-day on Saturday. I would have picked the favorites in the 9 games that were already underway when I got around to it, and they went 9-0.

That would have given me 54 points instead of 45.

Sonofabitch.

Morning after thoughts.
Not happy with the final score but overall was a damn good game.
A field goal on the first drive instead of going for it on 4th and a dropped pass in the end zone are the difference in this game.
It was back and forth with la state having the advantage of scoring first.

Looking at the stats it was an unbelievably even match up. Both of these teams are going to win a lot of games.



I liked la state chanting LSU at the end of the game and not sec like so many other douchey fan bases.

I also believe that if you think it’s funny to laugh and mock a crying child you are not a good person.

 

Was a damn good game. And just inches away from a possible OT. Although I'd like to think if it did happen, UT would've went for 2...

 

Also, after the performance of both defenses neither should be claiming dbu this morning. Lol

 

I don’t disagree with this, but I think lsu has to get used to this new tempo stuff. Texas was on the field for longer sustained drives and LSU’s offense was getting off the field in 7 or less plays putting the dbs back out there. Stingley was a monster, so much so Texas moved their best receiver to try to get him open. The cramping was unbelievable and the weather was crazy hot. I’d say Sam ehlinger beat LSU’s dbs more than Texas’s receivers did.

Still better than being a UT or FSU fan these days.

 

Not bad for a QB that everyone talks shit on. I'm not saying he's the best QB but so many people give him shit when he's proven that he is continually improving and will never let Texas be out of a game. Fights to the end every time.

Obviously would have liked to see Texas win but it was an impressive game nonetheless. Burrows looked amazing even if he seems like a massive douche.

 

There's more than a few teams that would take him in a heartbeat. Like you said, he's definitely a fighter.

Burrows has a high bar to chase on D-baggery though. Baker set it pretty high.

 

I think burrow is also just tired of no credit because of LSU’s reputation. He was on fire.
